CONFLUENCE: Art, Science, and Creativity, a PBS docuseries examining the intersection of art and science in sparking creativity, is likely to feature a recent collaborative art and design project at Friends. US Architecture Class students were tasked with designing dream spaces envisioned by Grade 1 class, 1JK. Their desire to please their young counterparts meant US students had to tap into their own childhood imaginations to reimagine space, identify materials and break down design boundaries. Candy arcades, chocolate water fountains, towering bunk beds, and donut shops with unlimited supplies, were some of the dream spaces US students wrestled with. The docuseries will be released in 2024, so stay tuned, and click here to learn more about this interdisciplinary project.
