In advance of Election Day on November 8, 2022, the student-led Political Action Club, in collaboration with the Center for Peace, Equity and Justice, set up a voter registration table on the corner of 16th Street and Rutherford Place. Their efforts made it easier for those over the age of 18 to register to vote and to remind them about the importance of voting. They also pre-registered 16 or 17 year olds to vote in the 2024 Presidential Election.
The Political Action Club also hosted a lunchtime conversation to review candidates and propositions on this year’s ballot, which was aimed at making students informed voters in the future.
